There is a month before the Future Leaders Forum will start
Exactly in a month, on June 23, 2019, the 6th Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council -  Future Leaders Forum will open in St. Petersburg. In Russia, this representative international event is held for the first time.

“Attaching great importance to personnel succession, training and education of responsible and qualified young specialists in the oil and gas industry, their production adaptation, the World Petroleum Council pays much attention to youth policy. The major role in this work is given to the WPC Youth Forums, which are held alternately in different countries every three years. Russia won the right to host the 6th WPC Youth Forum. For us, this is a great honor and responsibility”, says Vlada Streletskaya, Director of the Russian National Committee of the WPC and Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the 6th Future Leaders Forum.

It is assumed that the current Future Leaders Forum will become the largest and most representative platform for professional communication of young representatives of the oil and gas industry, who will gather in St. Petersburg from dozens of countries around the world.

The basis of the Technical Programme of the Forum is the discussion of topical issues of the industry’s activities, prospects, the role of young professionals. Discussions will take place in the halls and classes of St. Petersburg Mining University - the oldest engineering educational center in Russia.

To communicate with future leaders of the oil and gas industry, leaders of oil and gas companies, well-known scientists, and experts from around the world will arrive in St. Petersburg. Many of them have already confirmed their participation. In particular, Alexander Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation; Alexander Dyukov, General Director of Gazprom Neft; Galen Cobb, Vice President of Halliburton; Cederic Cremers, Executive Vice President and Country Chair Russia at Shell; Arnaud Le Fall, Head of Total in Russia; Jean-Francois Poupeau, Executive Vice President of Schlumberger; Azat Shamsuarov, Senior Vice President of PJSC LUKOIL.

Delegates and guests of the Forum will enjoy a rich Cultural Programme, which allows them to familiarize themselves with the brightest landmarks of St. Petersburg - one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The Opening Ceremony of the Forum will be held at the Mariinsky Theatre, and the results will be summarized in the Konstantinovsky Palace.

In addition, young participants of the forum will visit production and infrastructure facilities, become participants in seminars and business games, arrange an environmental campaign and even play football.

Registration of participants is continuing on the official website of the Forum www.flf-russia.com. For foreign guests a simplified procedure for obtaining visas is provided.
