The President of the World Petroleum Council is impressed by the preparation level of the Future Leaders Forum in St. Petersburg.
Responding to questions from the “Future Leaders” international journal, Tor Fjaeran, the President of the World Petroleum Council, expressed satisfaction with the preparations for the 6th Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council and highlighted the significance of the event in terms of the strategic prospects for the industry.

For the first time, this most representative international platform for professional communication of young specialists in the oil and gas industry is organised in Russia – the Future Leaders Forum of WPC will be held in St. Petersburg on June 23-28, 2019 The Organising Committee is chaired by Alexander Novak, the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.

“In Russia, there is a serious and thorough approach of the organisation of the Future Leaders Forum and the solution of all practical issues related to holding such a large event. It is impressive that the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council receives help and support from the authorities of the country and regions, oil companies, and public organisations. The organisers closely cooperate with the administration of the city of St. Petersburg and the administration of the Mining University, on the premises of which the young delegates and guests of the Forum will be communicating,” Tor Fjaeran said.

According to the President of the World Petroleum Council, Youth Forums provide good prerequisites for shaping the world energy future. “The Programme of the Future Leaders Forum in St. Petersburg is very consonant with the topic of the World Petroleum Council. Discussions at the youth platforms allow refreshing the view on the state and prospects of the industry,” said Tor Fjaeran.
