Association “RNC of the WPC” became a partner of Gas Forum

Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council has become an official co-organiser of the business programme of the 10th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. RNC of the WPC Programme Committee will organise a panel discussion at the Forum's venue on "The Oil and Gas Industry's Contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals".

The relevance, novelty and scale of the challenges facing the industry dictate the need for a broad discussion. RNC of the WPC Programme Committee invited reputable academics, experts and business representatives to share their opinions to compare different points of view. Russian and foreign speakers confirmed their participation in the event.

A wide range of issues shaping the future of the oil and gas industry will be discussed. These include, above all, efficient access to energy, sustainable production and consumption patterns, addressing climate and environmental challenges, and developing global partnerships.

SPIGF dates back to 2011. In just 10 years the Forum has become the most reputable discussion venue that keeps developing. Every year, the Forum captures attention of relevant Government officials, as well as members of the business, academic and expert communities. Following the results of the event, there are elaborated specific and comprehensive recommendations for the sustainability and progress of the oil and gas industry in both the short- and long-term perspective.

The 10th Anniversary St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will be held at ExpoForum from 5 to 8 October 2021. For more information, please visit the web-site
