Russian representative was re-elected as a Senior Vice President of the WPC

At a reporting meeting in Houston the World Petroleum Council extended the term of Anatoly Zolotukhin as a Senior Vice President of the World Petroleum Council for a new three-year cycle. This is one of the key positions in the Executive Committee, which shapes the World Petroleum Council's strategy and organises its implementation.


Anatoly Zolotukhin is an industry veteran, petroleum engineer, scientist and professor with an impressive work experience. He has been involved in many production projects in many different countries and has taught and continues to teach at many universities around the world. He is a professor at Gubkin University.


Apart from Russia, A. Zolotukhin has a lot to do with Norway, Statoil (new name Equinor). Anatoly is referred to as the mentor by thousands of oil professionals on different continents.


A. Zolotukhin has participated in the governing bodies of the World Petroleum Council since 2008. Currently he is Deputy Chairman of the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council.
