RNC WPC and Regional Youth Centre of Ugra deepen cooperation

Vlada Streletskaya, Director of Association “RNC of the WPC”, joined the Board of Trustees of the Autonomous Institution “Regional Youth Centre” in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra. Regional Youth Centre is an operator of Regional Centre for Identification, Support and Development of Abilities and Talents in Children and Youth in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra with which RNC WPC has partnership in projects. On February 8, 2022, Natalia Komarova, Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra, held the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Regional Centre.


For the second consecutive year, the Regional Centre has been involved in the preparation and implementation of the RNC WPC educational project "EnerGenious". Another joint project of the Association and the Regional Centre was the successful "Oil School. Engineering”. The participants of the educational programmes got acquainted with the processes of exploration, production and treatment of hydrocarbons, use of automation in the oil industry, modern and advanced technological solutions. High school students who successfully completed the “Oil School. Engineering” course were invited by Association “RNC of the WPC” to participate in the “EnerGenious” educational project, bypassing the qualifying competition.


The Board of Trustees will be the key governing body for the development of the Regional Centre. It will determine the priorities for the Regional Centre's educational programme, supervise the work of the permanent Board of Experts, and carry out other activities to ensure the effective operation of the Regional Centre.
