Gazprom Neft became part of the RNC WPC
The application of PJSC Gazprom Neft for membership in RNC WPC was considered and approved at the general meeting of the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council. The participants of the meeting voted unanimously for Gazprom Neft membership of the association.

PJSC Gazprom Neft is one of the leading oil and gas companies in Russia. The structure of Gazprom Neft includes more than 70 oil-producing, oil refining and marketing enterprises operating in Russia and abroad.

The company operates in the largest Russian oil and gas regions: the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamal-Nenets autonomous districts, Tomsk, Omsk, and Orenburg regions. The main processing facilities of the company are in Omsk, Moscow and Yaroslavl, as well as in the Serbian city of Pancevo. In addition, Gazprom Neft is implementing mining projects in Iraq, Venezuela and other countries. The company’s products are exported to more than 50 countries around the world and sold throughout Russia.

“The entry of Gazprom Neft into our association is a significant event,” says Vlada Streletskaya, director of the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council. – “The company has dealt successfully with issues of innovative development, is developing and actively implementing advanced technologies, has a rich experience of international cooperation. The experience and capabilities of Gazprom Neft will strengthen the position of the RNC WPC in resolving the problems of the association”.

Noting that Gazprom Neft pays much attention to training and professional growth of young personnel, Streletskaya emphasized that this practice is especially relevant for the RNC WPC now, when the association is preparing for the 6th Future Leaders Forum of the World Petroleum Council. This grandiose meeting of students and young oil and gas specialists from dozens of countries will be held in June 2019 in St. Petersburg, the city where the head office of PJSC Gazprom Neft is located.
