The WPC Russian National Committee delegation took part in the 2018 Tomorrow’s Leaders Symposium
The WPC Russian National Committee delegation, chaired by Director Vlada Streletskaya, took part in the 2018 Tomorrow’s Leaders Symposium hosted in Belgrade on September, 17 by the National Petroleum Committee of Serbia – World Petroleum Council (NNKS-WPC).

The Tomorrow’s Leaders Symposium is an event series organized under the auspices of the World Petroleum Council targeting young professionals active in the oil and gas industry. It was established as a platform to exchange views and reflect on the industry challenges among different generations in the petroleum industry stakeholder network. The event series was launched in London in 2014 and followed by a Budapest event in 2015, both attended by 100+ participants from over 15 WPC member countries.

This year’s Symposium, developed in close cooperation and with support of the WPC Young Professionals Committee, managed to engage around 70 young professionals and students from 11 countries with the industry leaders under the theme “Downstream landscape transformation”.

Within the event members of the Russian delegation (Vlada Streletskaya, Polina Letkova, Anna Illarionova) moderated the workshop sessions on innovations in academia and business cooperation mechanisms and strengthening the public perception and attractiveness of industry – role of social media. They also shared with participants the details of the upcoming 6th WPC Youth Forum – Future Leaders Forum in Saint Petersburg, June 2019. Participants were impressed by the technical and cultural programmes of the 6th WPC YF in Russia and expressed their interest in joining the Best Slogan contest, Call for paper, and the Volunteer programme.
