The Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council presented the exposition “Oil and Gas. Russian Press.” in Ashgabat, at the international exhibition in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, The project aims to expand the information field for the exchange of professional experience and knowledge. It was carried out as part of the preparation program for the 6th Youth Forum of the WPC, the Future Leaders Forum, which will be held in St. Petersburg in the summer of 2019 12 leading industry publications of Russia, information partners of the Forum, took part in the formation of the exposition. A pilot issue of the magazine “Future Leaders”, the official publication of the 6th Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council, was also presented.
It is the first time when an exposition was formed that systematically reveals the diversity and depth of the Russian industry press in providing information support for the oil and gas industry as a whole and its various segments.
A unique exhibition project has caused increased interest. Members of the Government of Turkmenistan, the Rector of the International University of Oil and Gas, professors and students of a specialized university, representatives of oil and gas companies of the Republic, guests from Great Britain, Poland, Korea, Iran, Uzbekistan and other countries got acquainted with the exposition.
At the end of the exhibition, all copies of oil and gas journals of Russia presented remained in Ashgabat for transfer to the library fund of the International University of Oil and Gas. The editorial staff of the journals “Neftegazovaya Vertikal”, “Neft Rossii”, “Neft i Capital”, Oil & Gas Journal Russia, Offshore Russia, Neftegaz.Ru, «Burenie i neft», «Gazovaya Promishlennost», «Territoriya Neftegaz», “Korroziya», the newspaper «Energetica and Promishlennost Russii», the digest of the National Oil and Gas Forum and Expocentre «Neftegaz» took part in exhibition development.
