The Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council, co-organizer of the 5th "VuzEkoFest" Youth Festival, awarded winners of the creative video contest with the trip to the 6th WPC Youth Forum - Future Leaders Forum.
The competition has become one of the events of the Festival. Plots posted by the contestants on Facebook, VK, Instagram social networks under the hashtags #знайсвоицели #опеншкола #вузэкофест were evaluated on three main criteria: choice of the goal of sustainable development, duration of the video, and proper design.
Tatyana Smirnova became a winner in the “The most proactive” nomination, Alexandra (@Ssh_gr) was recognized as the best contestant n the “The most conscious” nomination.
«VuzEkoFest» is a new youth project of the «Open school of sustainable development» and the RNC of WPC, aimed at forming the leaders community, promoting the concept of «Green Universities» and fostering a culture of ecological lifestyle. In 2019, the main theme of the festival was the adaptation of sustainable development goals at the universities level. Thousands of students from more than 50 universities of Russia and Belarus took part in the events.
The 6th Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council is the largest and most representative international platform for professional communication between young professionals from dozens of countries all over the world. The forum organized by the RNC of WPC will be held in St. Petersburg on June 23-28, 2019.
All days of the Forum will be filled with the events for a wide business and exciting Cultural Programme. These are presentations of leaders’ and leading experts of the oil and gas industry, acquaintance and communication with like-minded people from dozens of countries, educational seminars and business games, visits to the Mariinsky Theatre, the Hermitage Museum and other sights of St. Petersburg city, which has the reputation of the Cultural Capital of Russia.
