The preparedness of St. Petersburg city for the Future Leaders Forum was discussed in Smolny Palace
The Vice-governor of St. Petersburg, Oleg Markov, held an organizational meeting on the participation of organizations and services of the city in the preparation of the 6th Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council - Future Leaders Forum in Smolny Palace.
The Forum, which is the most representative and prestigious platform for the professional communication of the young specialists of the world oil and gas industry, is held in St. Petersburg on June 23-28.

Speaking at the meeting, the Director of the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council, Vlada Streletskaya, reported that by now the delegations from 58 countries of the world have confirmed their participation in the 6th WPC Youth Forum. Russian and foreign industry leaders, top managers of energy companies, famous scientists and experts will arrive to communicate with young delegates. This will be an unprecedented international youth event dedicated to discussing the prospects of the oil and gas industry.

The main events of the business program of the Forum will be held at the sites of St. Petersburg Mining University. The Vice-rector Vladimir Borzenkov reported on how the preparation is going in this oldest Russian engineering university.

At the meeting in Smolny Palace, the reports of the Tourism Development Committee, the Culture Committee, and Transport Departments were heard. The preparation for the Forum is carried out in accordance with the plan. A Cultural Programme has been prepared that will allow the Forum participants to familiarize themselves with the unique sights of the city, its tourist and scientific potential. The Vice-governor of St. Petersburg Oleg Markov drew the attention of the meeting to the need to create the most comfortable conditions for guests and participants of the Forum.

“The administration of St. Petersburg, the organizations and services of the city are doing a great deal of preparation for the reception of the Forum participants,” Vlada Streletskaya noted with satisfaction. - We are working in close contact, all issues that arise are resolved promptly, in a constructive manner. This is a good basis for ensuring a high level of hospitality during the Forum.”
