The official mobile application of the 6th Future Leaders Forum of the World Petroleum Council is available for download via App Store and Google Play. The full name of the app is “FLF2019 - 6 YF WPC”, but guests and delegates will be able to find it just by typing “FLF2019” in the search box.
Vlada V. Streletskaya, the Director of the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council, said that “While making the final preparations for the Forum we try to make it as convenient and as easy to navigate as possible. We hope that young delegates that are used to taking advantage of their smartphones will appreciate our mobile app, which gives them the opportunity to always be up to date, find answers to many of their questions and communicate with each other”.
The app of the Forum will allow users to follow the most up-to-date information about the event, and will give guests and participants access to useful services. There they will be able to find the latest news, information about the speakers and the events and the schedule of the shuttle buses. Each user will have their personal account. After adding the item of the Technical Programme that they are interested in to the “favorites” section, participants will receive push-notifications about it. There is also a feature, which allows participants to pose questions to the speaker.

The 6th World Petroleum Council Youth Forum is to be held from June 23 to June 28, 2019 in St. Petersburg. It is the largest international platform for communication of young professionals of the oil and gas industry of the world. The delegates of the Forum are students and young professionals of the industry that represent about 60 countries of the world. On the agenda are the most pressing issues of future development of the industry. Alexander V. Novak, the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, is the Head of the Organizing Committee.
