Laszlo Varro, Shell Vice President will speak at RNC WPC conference

Participants of the second session of the international conference “Oil and Gas Industry Contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals” will discuss risks and opportunities for the oil and gas industry associated with decarbonisation processes.


One of the key speakers of this session will be Laszlo Varro, Vice President for Global Business Environment, Shell.


Tatiana Mitrova, Head of Research at SKOLKOVO Energy; Natalia Tretiak, First Vice President at Gazprombank; Sergey Vakulenko, Head of Strategy and Innovation at Gazprom Neft will also take part in the discussion.


Abdullahi Y. Shehu, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Russian Federation will speak about “Carbon Footprint: A Paradigm Shift from Crude Oil to Gas.


The conference “Oil and Gas Industry Contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals” is organised by RNC of the WPC and will take place on 6th October at the venue of the 10th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (5-8 October, Expoforum, Saint Petersburg).
