NOGF will become a participant of 6th Future Leaders Forum of the World Petroleum Council preparation
The Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council and the National Oil and Gas Forum have agreed on coordinating activities aimed at supporting the oil and gas complex of the Russian Federation in every possible way, promoting its interests at the international level.

Sergey Yatseny, the general director of the «National Oil and Gas Forum» and Vlada Streletskaya, the director of the Association «Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council for the Organization and Holding of World Petroleum Congresses» signed Agreement on cooperation in the presence of the President of the Union of Oil and Gas Producers of Russia, the Chairman of the Council of Oil and Gas Industry Veterans at the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Iosifovich Shmal.

Within the framework of the Agreement, joint business events, mutual information and analytical support, participation in the development and promotion of proposals aimed at more fully revealing the potential of the Russian oil and gas complex are planned. It is expected that the main line of cooperation for the coming year will be the preparation and holding of the 6th Future Leaders Forum of the World Petroleum Council, which will be held in June 2019 in St. Petersburg.

“The National Oil and Gas Forum is known in the industry as an authoritative platform for business communication. Support from the NOGF is especially important for us in connection with the preparation of an unprecedented international meeting of young representatives of the oil and gas industry that we were entrusted to hold in St. Petersburg. It is expected that about two thousand students and young specialists will take part in it, which will communicate not only with each other, but will have a unique opportunity to communicate with top managers and key industry experts,” said V. Streletskaya, Director of the RNC WPC.

“Although the agenda of the Forum is addressed to the future, it is very important to ensure the continuity of generations. I am grateful to the NOGF co-chairman Gennady Iosifovich Shmal for agreeing to help in the organization of meetings of Forum’s delegates with veterans of the oil and gas industry,” Vlada Streletskaya continued.

“We have accumulated a rich experience of youth participation in the implementation of the largest oil and gas projects. It is very good that this tradition is preserved. It is important that the new generation of oil workers not only be professionally trained, but also well aware of their history. The 6th Future Leaders Forum of the World Petroleum Council in St. Petersburg is a good opportunity to remind about traditions. With pleasure I will help the organizers in this,” G. Shmal said.
