Organizers of the Future Leaders Forum and Russian petroleum workers discussed cooperation questions
Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Future Leaders Forum — 2019, Assistant to the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Kirill Molodtsov held a meeting in Moscow with the participation of the leading oil and gas companies in Russia. The questions of cooperation optimization within the framework of the Forum preparation were discussed. Opening the meeting, K. Molodtsov noted that a responsible approach to the development of the industry involves not only organizational and technical measures aimed at developing the extraction and processing of hydrocarbon raw materials. International cooperation, exchange of experience and knowledge, trust and mutual understanding between specialists working in different countries of the world are becoming more important. In this sense, strategically important direction is the promotion of international professional communication of young specialists. Based on this message, Russia applied for the right to host the world’s largest forum of young specialists in the oil and gas industry in St. Petersburg. Now that our application is satisfied, it is necessary to ensure the holding of the Forum at a high organizational level and lay the foundations for global professional cooperation for many years to come.

Positively assessing the efforts of the Russian organizers of the Future Leaders Forum of the World Petroleum Council, K. Molodtsov stressed that the work is being done in a planned mode, according to the established schedule. At the same time, as the event is coming, the tasks to be solved become more complicated, which requires more systematic support, primarily from the oil and gas sector companies, for which the Forum is an important tool for solving the strategic tasks of international cooperation and educating highly qualified and proactive specialists of the new generation.

Vlada Streletskaya, Director of the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council and Valery Yazev, RNC Chairman, informed the participants of the meeting about the preparations for the Future Leaders Forum, the nearest plans and future tasks, the expected support from oil and gas companies. In turn, the representatives of the companies made a number of significant recommendations on improving the preparatory work, confirmed their interest and readiness to contribute to the successful holding of the Forum, and the wide participation of young specialists in it.

Future Leaders Forum- The 6th Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council will be held on June 23-28, 2019 in St. Petersburg. It is expected that there will be about two thousand delegates and guests of the Forum: students and young oil and gas specialists from dozens of countries around the world, as well as ministers, top managers of energy companies and key experts. The Organizing Committee of the Forum is headed by the Minister of Energy of Russia Alexander Novak.
